Bonded anchor UKA3 Plus

The Upat bonded anchor UKA3 Plus is a proven, highly efficient fastening system consisting of a mortar glass capsule and the anchor rod ASTA or the internal threaded anchor IST. The system has ETA approval for both cracked and uncracked concrete and is also suitable for use in dense natural stone. Common applications include heavy steel structures, railings, stairs, support feet and silos.

Functioning

Function: The hardener is stored separately from the resin and quartz sand in the glass capsule. When the anchor rod ASTA is vibrated into the borehole, the glass capsule is destroyed along with the hardener, resin, and quartz sand and mixed with the drilling dust. In the reaction, a fast-curing synthetic resin mortar is formed, which firmly binds the anchor rod ASTA in the borehole without the need for hole cleaning.

Installation: The Upat bonded anchor UKA3 Plus is installed with the Upat anchor rod ASTA in the pre-positioned installation method and with the Upat internal threaded anchor IST in the pre-installation method. Create borehole, set capsule, vibrate anchor rod/internal threaded anchor, observe curing time - done. The anchor rod ASTA and the internal threaded anchor IST are vibrated into the borehole with a drill in hammer-drill mode. The temperature in the substrate must not fall below the specified minimum value during the curing of the mortar. Minimum cartridge temperature -15°C.

Tools: Drill, drilling machine, setting tool (MW-SDS plus). For sizes M8-M20, the corresponding installation aid is included in each package.
