Materials

Stainless steel (R/A4): For external atmospheric exposure and to permanently damp internal conditions, if no particular aggressive conditions exists
Zinc plated steel (gvz): For dry internal conditions. Furthermore can be used outdoors if the head is shielded from moisture and rain to prevent water from entering the anchor shaft

Countersunk head (T): For visually appealing and flush-mounted installation
Hexagon head (FUS): For secure application of torque from the outside even in small installation spaces

Functioning

Function: The frame anchor is deeply anchored in the building material due to its extended anchoring depth and spans multiple stone webs in cavity masonry. The anchor rim ensures flush mounting and prevents the frame anchor from slipping into the borehole. When screwing in the anchor screw, the anti-rotation device prevents the frame anchor from rotating. The special anchor screw does not cut into the frame anchor but compresses it more strongly against the borehole wall. In cavity masonry, the loads are transferred via multiple stone webs

Installation: The Upat Frame Anchor URDL is installed in through-hole mounting. Create the borehole, clean it, drive in the frame anchor, screw in the screw - done

Tools: Drill, drill machine, blower (UPM AB), screwdriver/electric screwdriver, optional setting tool (SK SW 8 1/2'' VK)
