Upat promotes the circular economy, from the production of each product to the disposal of the packaging.
You can also help us by always making sure that packaging materials are separated and disposed of correctly.
Always follow these tips:
To dispose of our packaging correctly, follow the instructions on the packaging of each product. If there are no direct instructions, you can find information below on how to dispose of each type of Upat packaging.
The cardboard boxes of Upat products can be disposed of with waste paper.
Cardboard packaging: waste paper
Any inner bags made of plastic: plastic collection

The plastic cartridges of Upat products must be disposed of in accordance with national, regional, and local regulations, both the packaging and its contents.
Cartridges and static mixers should only be disposed of in the plastic section after any remaining material has been removed (further details can be found in the product's safety data sheet).

The plastic boxes (Upat dowel box) can also be reused for other purposes once the included Upat products are used up. If you need to throw them away, they belong in the plastic recycling. The outer box and the inner container (if there is one) must be separated from each other before disposal.
Outer box, inner container: plastic recycling.

Buckets must be disposed of in the plastic waste. If the bucket has a metal handle, it must be separated and disposed of according to local regulations.

Metal handle: Metal collection

The Green Dot is found on packaging registered under a private system in effect in Germany. These systems handle the disposal, sorting, and recycling of this packaging.

The recycling code shows which materials are used for each part of the packaging. The number in the center of the recycling symbol represents each material. A material identification code can also be added as an option.
These symbols are defined by European regulation 97/129.

The Tidyman logo is an international symbol for packaging and is meant to remind people to properly dispose of waste in separate bins instead of littering.

The Triman logo is a mandatory recycling symbol on all household packaging sold in France.
