Drop-In Anchor IDA

The Upat drop-in anchor IDA is the time-saving solution for fastening through screws with metric threads and threaded rods. This internal thread anchor is particularly suitable for fastening in concrete and natural stone with a dense structure. The drop-in anchor IDA is commonly used for overhead installation and in cases of low concrete thickness for the approved fastening of non-load-bearing systems such as pipe runs and ventilation ducts.

Functioning

Function: When driving in the setting tool, the expansion cone is pressed against the conically shaped anchor sleeve, expanding the drop-in anchor against the borehole wall. The expansion cone remains in position, so the anchor remains securely in place when a screw is inserted or removed

Installation: The Upat drop-in anchor IDA is installed in pre-insertion mounting. Create borehole, clean borehole. Drive in drop-in anchor. Drive in setting tool. Assemble component with screw - done
