UHZ

Robust hollow wall plug made of metal with metric internal thread and screw for multiple loosening and fastening of the attachment. 1

Advantages

Flexible mounting: Screws can be flexibly mounted and flush dismantled using the metric internal thread
High load capacity: The four-fold expansion in the cavity achieves high load-bearing capacities in panel building materials or cavities
Versatile use: The cavity anchor can be used versatilely with the supplied pan head or angle screw
Optimized installation: Ideal for pre-installation. The installation pliers UHZ enable quick and efficient installation
Safe application: The metal claws on the anchor's edge prevent the cavity anchor from rotating in the drill hole

The Upat hollow wall anchor UH, with its metric internal thread and screw, is an ideal solution for multiple uses in all panel construction materials. When mounted with the Upat hollow cavity pliers UHZ, the hollow wall anchor expands in the cavity and presses tightly against the back of the panel. The Upat hollow wall metal anchor UH is commonly used for fastening lightweight wall shelves or lights.

Properties

Building material: Panel construction
Load range: Tension load, shear load, and oblique load 0.05-0.5kN

Functioning

Function: The correct anchor selection is based on the thickness of the panel. When tightened with the installation pliers, the anchor legs fold up against the back of the panel and support the anchor. The large contact radius distributes the tensile forces and gives the Upat UH its good holding values. The anchor remains in its position even when the screw is removed

Installation: The Upat cavity anchor UH is installed in pre-positioning mounting. Efficient installation with installation pliers: Set borehole, drive in cavity anchor. Expand cavity anchor with installation pliers. Position attachment. Screw in screw - done. Pragmatic installation without installation pliers: Set borehole, drive in cavity anchor. Position attachment. Expand cavity anchor by screwing in the screw - done

Tools: Drill, drill machine, hammer, setting tool (UHZ), optional screwdriver/electric screwdriver
